I want to make sure they all show the correct dates and PISCES versions upon export

FYI, template tag for this is {Version} - you may already know that. I'm working on adding a {Sources} tag too. One moment

Right now I just have the sources as "species distribution: various - see layer metadata". Will the {Sources} tag add all the data sources in a map? I would imagine that it could be a lot.

Yeah, it would - we don't have to use it, but I want it to be available, just in case. It's been a wishlist item for a while, and I just saw it in the tracker.

OK, Sources tag works - I need to run out, but I'll file a task to add it to the documentation.

Marking as resolved since now all main base maps (all mapsets in CDFW profile except raster) have a version tag.
