PISCES performance slows during longer mapset generation #111

In long running mapsets (like for all Native_Fish), PISCES slows down greatly at some point - try to trace this issue. I suspect Arcpy calls are taking longer, but why? And can I refresh something to speed it up again?

Reopening this one (thanks for triaging though). The issue wasn't clear, but it's for situations where we're outputting Main Range Maps for all fish at once (or something like that). After outputting 30-60 maps, things really slow down.

Wasn't sure if I saw a whole lot of this in the most recent export. Maps themselves were speedy to export. Not sure about the layers - they may have slowed down, but it was hard to say with the metadata export turned on.
