Editing.mxd Shortcut not working on Rod's machine #127

Original report by Nicholas Santos (Bitbucket: nickrsan, GitHub: nickrsan).

I downloaded the Pisces installation package (took an hour to download) and installed it. I went to the program shortcut folder (from the Start menu) and didn’t see a Pisces program, per se, to start.

There is a shortcut in that group called "Check for PISCES Updates". I selected it and received an error message stating, "Checking for Updates - Unable to find resource on server. Please check if the URL is correct."

I then tried a shortcut there called "PISCES Data Editing MXD". I selected it and received another error message stating, "There was an error sending the command to the program."

Lastly, I then tried a shortcut called "PISCES SQLite Studio" which opened the SQLite v2.1.5 program.

But that’s it as far as program shortcuts go. There are also shortcuts for different folders, but they’re just empty folders (default, I presume) for the various shapefiles, PDFs, KMZs, etc. files generated by Pisces. Not sure where to go with this now.

Next Wednesday 1-4 might not work for me as I have a lunchtime presentation that day and would cut it real close. Is it possible to move it to next Wednesday (01/28) 1:30-4:30?
