Seperate Work Types #391

Some participants have strong opinions about separating conference papers from journal articles in their profile and/or having some sort of filter on profiles to limit view to the type of work(s) they are interested in seeing.

There are a couple of possibilities here. Would just the ability to roll up a type be helpful?

Also, there are about 20 work types, most not well used, but do we have a limted set, and put all the others into an Other section?

Do we leave them all as one, and allow buttons to hide and show?

There is also the issue that work type priority varies by discipline.
