[UX/UI] Citation dropdown alignment issue #248

Alignment issue with microsoft edge for citations on the item page, they show up aligned toward the right. Firefox aligns toward the left. Possibly related to the arrow?

Actually dropdown text needs to always be left aligned. From the comments during testing: Lower priority issue: Dropdown text appears to be either right or centered-aligned (?) but as a rule dropdown text should always be left aligned.

Also ensure the file download dropdown on the item page also follows this rule.
