Map: Esc button brings back blue panel #17

If at any time a user hits "Esc" button when anything on the map is selected, item should be deselected and panel view return to the default blue one that loads on start.

This feature isn't working for me on any browser.

This is almost good! But I don't want the map view to reset. If I am zoomed in on a subject that I've selected and hit Esc, only the panel changes, nothing else. We don't want to grab map control away from the user if we can help it.
