One method of demonstrating the use of our localization strategy for ROR, is to develop a Google Spreadsheet that can represent the structure we need. This includes a three TAB version, where tabs include; organizations, parents, subjects, and types. Additionally, we can include tabs that store some of the controlled vocabulary for the project.
The initial Google Spreadsheet includes the parents, but not the subject matter of the departments. The (private) ROR Document includes a pointer to some examples of acedemic descriptions.
Part of this could also be an export mechanism that provides the file via a web interface for example.
