I'd like to get another opinion on this as the short URLs are http, not https.
For a given KB#, KB0000132
The current URL returned is:
https://ucdavisit.service-now.com/ess/knowledge_detail.do?sysparm_article=KB0000132
Is shorter version is preferred:
http://kb.ucdavis.edu/?id=0132
the short URL can be padded with zeros:
http://kb.ucdavis.edu/?id=0000132
Or the leading zeros can be removed:
http://kb.ucdavis.edu/?id=132
