Denied exceptions and the request history screen:
When an exception request is denied, we had discussed and implemented a change so that the course would revert back to the default “no exception” state in the Requests page.
This is working, but when this reversion is happening in the system, TACOS doesn’t seem to be keeping any information about the exception request or the decision.
We would like to continue having the course revert back to default on the Requests page, but have the denied exception info recorded in the request history screen.
a. Could we add a bar similar to the one for approved requests, but saying: “Your exception request for __ was denied. Please see request history page for details.” Maybe there could even be a hyperlink to the request detail/history page for that course.
b. Request history should store information about the exception, including exception reason, amount, decision, date, etc.

· Exception request for 0.25 TA submitted on 11/26/19
· Request history section showed exception details, unapproved status
· Exception denied on 12/5/19 by Penny
· Request history section no longer shows exception details, no record of exception denial or reason
