Fall 2022 Improvements

This issue is a list of improvements we want to make for the Fall 2022 iteration of Python Basics. Most items are from our separate notes document, but from now on additional items can also collect here.

• [x] Session 1: edit to sync with R Basics
  • [x] Dedicated subsection to introduce strings, similar to R Basics
• [x] Session 2: rewrite/reframing
  • [x] Begin by opening data again
  • [x] Bring Python Basics into alignment with R Basics Incorporate material from Intermediate Python
    • [x] Vectors situated with a discussion of columns
  • [x] Most examples contextualized in terms of the actual data
    • [x] Datatypes
    • [x] Missing data (show as discussion of NAs)
    • [x] Vector operations
    • [ ] Data synthesis (e.g. adding two columns together)
• [x] Session 3: edit to sync with R Basics
• [ ] Session 4: draft an outline/big picture for the case study
• [ ] (low priority) Get additional data from Wiki to add to banknote data

@nick-ulle do you want to keep this open for the session 4 point? I've drafted up a lot of cleaning notes in our Instructor Notes doc but nothing on visualization. I think we can cross off the Wiki data. Timing wise, it seems like we're unlikely to explore any additional info during future series.
