Save History has issues when used with a fresh instance save #1510

To reproduce:

Create a new widget from the catalog
Save the widget as a draft but stay in the creator
Make modifications and save another draft
Bring up the Save History dialog and select the earlier save

The creator attempts to instantiate as a new instance instead of an existing one and consequently bugs out. This behavior does not occur when returning to the creator after previously saving.
