I'm going to open up the podium again if anyone wants to discuss their approach to Question 3. I think that is was very helpful (and interesting) last week.

Assignment #7 is an application which builds upon the work from Assignment #6, correct?

No. Assignment 7 is going to be related to the Globus Genomics pipeline. You will most likely finish it in class during the hands-on demonstration. Even if you don't, it will purposely be much less "work" than previous assignments. I want everyone to focus on their final projects by then.
