Clustering of Group Selections in Dynamic Networks #21

In the dynamic network, participants had the chance to select new group members, where it is assumed that a participant would typically select new members who performed better than their members in the last round. Did the groups converge on selecting individuals who were the best average performers?

I wonder how this might change if each person could only be in one group. For example, if you allowed participants to pick their groups based on the order in which they finished, would participants sacrifice performance to be able to pick the best group? What if group selection order is based on your previous performance? How might this affect the overall performance of the dynamic network?
