I noticed that in the figure 15, there are roughly 4 bright areas within the country. When comparing with the point estimation location of ancient cities, it turns out to be that most of the cities lied near Kanes, rather than evenly distributed around the high natural road index areas. Would you mind using your gravity model to further explain that? Thanks!
