Assur - Speculating on how it would change the model. #5

As you mentioned, it would have been challenging to distinguish between Assur (the city) and Assur (all other meanings) in the corpus you used. Yet, it seems like a rather important location in the Assyrian trading system you are studying.

How do you think the inclusion of Assur (true values, not the noise from the text) would have altered the model/dynamics of the system? Does Qattara, as a gateway city, simply stand in for Assur?

Edited to clarify I was referring to the "true" Assur values.

Maybe it was impossible to add it without producing noise in the estimation. I would have excluded it.
