Question about the limitations of alpha-band activity #17

Thanks a lot for the presentation. In the discussion part of your paper, you mentioned that spatially specific alpha-band activity serves as an opportunity to deal with the situation when stimulus-evoked approaches do not work. However, could the alpha-band activity be taken advantage of in every similar circumstance? Does it have any limitations?

There are many many limitations....too many to list. but here are a few: This method requires a lot of data to overcome noise. This makes it less useful for cases in which only a few observations can be made. The spatial precision of the method is pretty good, but not as good as the acuity of the visual system (not really even close)...so we can't detect all variations in spatial representation.
