Extension to economic research #21

Thanks for the interesting work! I am thinking whether this research can be extended to or just provide some insight for economic research. Sometimes individuals may not make decisions as the traditional economic theory implies. For example, individuals may not always buy the most suitable goods in a store because they did not make a big effort in their mind to choose the best commodity for them. Sometimes, people consume too much today, forgetting to save money for tomorrow. Whether these irrational decisions have some correlations with the amount of cognitive effort they make while consuming? Can we design experiments to measure how much cognitive effort individuals are exerting when they make different (rational and irrational) decisions? I am curious about whether this could make a contribution to the theory of consumer.
