I just realized how critical attention and working memory are to navigate normal activities. I am curious whether these two facets of functions are mutually stimulating to each other, or they independently consume 'CPU' power in our brain, or their relationship is at somewhere in between? Could people benefit from this knowledge by steering at these capabilities more wisely?
Another tiny question: why is it particularly interesting to constrain specificity, rather than sensitivity? Is it because negative examples are more attractive to study, or is it because the recall rate has been steadily satisfying?
