While I think it is very interesting to see how you draw upon your knowledge in the field of neuroscience to develop an improved method for training of AI, I am wondering if you think it is possible for someone with no background in neuroscience at all to come up with this method (or a similar one)? And do you think there will be a method that can deal with catastrophic forgetting more efficiently while using a mechanism that is not found in neuroscience?
