Was wondering under the specific context of studying social interactions, what will be some of the greatest challenges facing identification?

The article Identification of Social Interactions surveys the challenges. The main ones are 1) self selection or endogeneity of the social structure, 2) correlations in unobserved heterogeneity, and distinguishing types of social influences. Please see my slides for a long intuitive example.
