The paper says some abstract cue is matched with high-temperature representation, is it a training before the participants take the experiment, i.e., the participants were shown those cues and high-temperature pictures together? If so, what's the difference between that method and that tell them the temperature of the stimulus (it can be true or false) and ask them to report their expectations?
