Currently the code to do this lives here: https://github.com/uci-uav-forge/uavf_2024/blob/f42b4391a657310f40a3c82f746eac87605fd7fe/uavf_2024/gnc/dropzone_planner.py#L85. It's very crude right now and could probably be improved! This is an open-ended task - the main requirements are to
come up with and implement some sort of improved method for this
devise some tests benchmarking this somehow and showing that it works.
@Philip-Jian GH only allows assigning one person on issues for private repos - just pinging for viz instead.
Let's put this on the backburner for now until we have more info from real tests.
