I stumbled across this discrepancy in the man/ page for create.histogram regarding the default values for xaxis.cex and yaxis.cex.
man/
create.histogram
xaxis.cex
yaxis.cex
The default args are set to 1.5, but the documentation states they are set to 1.
Not sure if there are other discrepancies like this in the other manual pages.
