On assigment page, during submit, refresh stops from reviewing old results. #275

Minor improvement idea.

To reproduce: 1) Submit something on the assignments page 2) wait for the results to come back 3) Submit something else 4) Unfold the results list of the previous submission - it collapses periodically

I was on the assignment submission page, and when it is polling to see if recent test submission is complete, I can't review the results from my last submission because when it refreshes it collapses that results list.

This might go under wishlist for now, but would slightly improve usability in that case.

Yeah I have noticed this. Think it should be low priority. Students don't seem to complain too much about this, probably because most of the time if they are submitting something new they tend to care very little about old results. On Apr 9, 2013 12:20 PM, "fdavis" notifications@github.com wrote:

Definitely something we should address eventually. We'd like to move away from the very old school whole-page refresh to a smaller AJAX update, which should hopefully take care of this problem. Added the wishlist tag.
