One of the common features to dungeon crawlers is exploration. Right now the whole map is revealed at the very beginning however we want the player to "explore" the dungeon. This means the player should have to go around the dungeon at least once to see the entire map.
The player should only have vision of a few squares around him at the beginning then as he goes through the entire map the dungeon is revealed. (the revealed part does not turn black after it leaves the player's vision range.)
