Custom Code in Footer Block #418

arc.ucsc.edu has some custom HTML from addthis.com to allow folks to "Share" Is there a workaround for them so they can keep this? footer-share

There isn't a workaround for that. I'm curious what kind of usage they get on those buttons? AddThis provides stats. How many shares have they had from those buttons in the last year?

If it is substantial, we can look into this a bit further. I wonder if it might be better for them to put that code in a global left nav block so it is more prominant?

I'm going to close this. We won't be allowing custom code in footer blocks.
