License for use and extension? #185

I noticed the line

license='MIT',

in the setup.py file in the repo root directory, but typically a repo has a LICENSE file in the root directory that contains the full text of the license for the repo, to be unambigious.

I'd like to confirm that this repository is MIT-licensed. Is the copyright holder The Regents of the University of California?
