Descriptive summary

Our current process for mapping MARC data to DAMS4 involves multiple applications, stylesheets, and programming languages. Let's look for a more direct strategy.

Review Traject, see comment, as an alternative to the LOC and DAMS4 XSL stylesheets.

Rationale

The current process for MARC mapping makes documentation and troubleshooting difficult. There are multiple places in the chain that could cause confusion or errors.

Expected behavior

A single MARC -> DAMS5 CSV mapping.
