UCUUM has an allergy unit “AU” but this refers to allergen potency and not specific IgE testing. I think we need to request a new uom for KUA/L. LOINC is waiting for KUA/L to be implemented in UCUUM before making changes to their database

Original issue title:

I apologize for additional tickets-- I would like to clarify my request:

Use the existing UCUM code k[AU]/l - see https://github.com/ucum-org/ucum/issues/180

This issue should be closed in favour of #180

We have been looking into this specific question in the UK. I have a significant amount of input from clinical subject matter experts (SMEs) and i'm hoping to get a specialist view from the UK National Physical Laboratory (NPL) very soon.

Headline- [UA] (which, assuming this is the best name, would ideally be rendered as capital U subscript A if we could "do subscripts") is NOT the same concept as [AU] (allergen units)

Can I request that the issue remain open until i can gather and collate the full SME input on thjis.
