Defined in SDTM (code C70532) as:
Amount of infectious agent or biological product that causes infection in the 50% of embryos such as chicken embryos used in the product potency assay or pathogen activity assay.(NCI)
"EID 50" gives 708k results hits on google, "EID50" gives another 63k.
CDISC also defines code C70533 (EID 50/dose), however due to the "per dose" aspect, this code would not be appropriate for use in UCUM.
