Can you tell me what operating system are you running your server on?
Linux
What distribution? What version? x84/x64?
CentOS 6.5 x64 It also happened on another VPS (it was Linux Debian)
I think I fixed it, but I will have to test the binaries for a while. It's quite difficult to reproduce the problem, but I'll try to upload the new binaries as soon as possible.
This bug is fixed finally? Somebody tested it?
Nothing happened, so I think it's fixed. Server uptime is almost 15 days.
Nice!!! Then i'll try it.
Bug happens in v1.4
After how long since you have started your server does this occur?
A week maybe, maybe 12 days? i'm on centos plugin v1.4 64 Bit, all timers became 1milsecond. Fucking everything up ;) not sure if you want any more info?
Even before v1.4, I've been running a server for about 20 days and I've had no issues. Those timing bugs are hard to track, I'll look into.
Well, ya i had my server running for 3 months without this bug happening ( at v1.3 ) and everything was fine, i guess something causes this failure ?
I've tried to get this bug to happen again and sadly can't, not sure if this bug only happens at linux version or not. hard to track :S, any progress with you yet?
This bug happens with fixes2 plugin too
It's hard for me to fix it if I can't reproduce the bug.
Ok, now confirming that bug is still there. I restarted server about yesterday (night) and today I was going into server and I saw that all timers were turned to 1ms from 1000ms (likely), I couldn't believe that bug appeared again.
It appeared again in just one day? That's strange as it happens usually after a long usage. Now I have absolutely no idea what's going on.
Yeah, one day. I also wondered, when I saw this bug just after one day.
It also happens after a recent restart..
I really hope that this bug was finally fixed. I'm waiting for feedback.
I'm currently using 1.3 and one thing i have notice with this bug is if my vps has a uptime lower than 20 days (give or take a few) i rarely get this to happen. Once i get into a month of uptime or more, it happens quite regularly, could happen after a few hours or up to a week, it varys.
Also i see the download branch was removed so i cannot try the 1.4 version.
Also this is the output to uname -a Linux teamshri 2.6.32-431.29.2.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Sep 9 21:36:05 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux incase it might help you a little better...
Why you are using the oldest version?
https://github.com/udan11/samp-plugin-timerfix/releases Use v1.5 and problem fixed.
Then dan needs to fix the download link on the main topic on samp forums as the link is different. It wouldn't show me the downloads for some reason.
I'm no longer visiting SA-MP forums. Maybe you can ask a moderator to edit the links.
Hello,
When I run server without restart about 7 days then timerfix bug will appear that defined 1000ms timer is changed to likely 1ms timer. (happens all defined timers) - That means I have to restart server often to avoid this bug.
This is serious bug, that needs fix.
Likely same issue: http://forum.sa-mp.com/showpost.php?p=3135680&postcount=58 and more 1 post above this. (another confirmation)
