XPS 7590 can not adjust bright by function key, fixed #29

I have a DELL XPS 7590 oled screen, use Nvidia 1650 graphic card. and running OS Ubuntu 18.04. Following install, everything is ok but can not adjust brightness by function key (small-sun key and big-sun key),

I changed one line in icc-brightness file in line about 20: BACKLIGHT_PATH = '/sys/devices/platform/dell-laptop/backlight/dell_backlight'

And after re-login, the function key is running.

It looks DELL OLED screen laptop maybe have this problem.

Hi, Same laptop and same issue, your fix unfortunately does not solve the problem at all for me.

same XPS laptop, worked perfectly for me! thanks!

Although I have noticed laptop is quite slower to load items on the sidebar. Guess I'd rather live with that than burning my eyes

Additional feedback:

after two reboots, this problem went away
