Right clicking on multi-selections in ECCP left panel

I can select multiple runs from the left hand panel of ECCP, and drag them into 
the right panel.  But when i right click on a multi-selection, and choose an 
action ("QC Window", "Download Files", etc.), it only performs the action on 
one of the selected runs.  This is inconsistent UI behavior . 

Is there a way to check for multiple selections when a right click happens?  If 
so, we should be able to find a solution.  At the minimum, it should just not 
show any options and instead show a message saying "actions can not be 
performed on multiple selections". Better yet, it could actually open a 
multi-run QC window (which is what I expected to happen when I did it, and 
would be the ideal behavior).
