confusion regarding database versions #749

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Hi:
I'm not sure what's going on with the databases, there are still several discrepancies between production and beta, but maybe it's because there are differences in the update schedule? Also there are conflicts between the status column and what is actually available, but these are things we talked about yesterday so maybe they are being worked on? Sorry if I'm telling you things you already know!

is that really necessary? Can't you just go on and see for yourself? It's
the same runs we've been looking at for the past three days

Yesterday we talked about 2014-05-13 run . It displays now correct. What
else displays wrong?

2014-5-13 beta: McMahon says reads available, production says analysis
available, in production one of Mcmahon samples says in process but in beta
says reads available (and reads are in fact available). Nuzhdin sequencing
says in process in production but says reads available in beta (reads are
actually available). Are things displaying differently for you and I? I'm
wondering why you aren't seeing those. Also 2014-5-23 in production says
in process but in beta says reads available. Is that due to different
schedule of update?

versions

This is because production update runs later then beta.

in production one of Mcmahon samples says in process but in beta

This is because production currently doesnt display reads avail even if
they are. It will display in process whether available or not.

 Nuzhdin sequencing

Same as above.

Are things displaying differently for you and I? I'm

Same as above.

Is that due to different

Some of the differences are because to different schedule of update.
