NOTE: Be careful when adding new metrics #759

when adding new metrics, you typically edit the metric table etc, and expect to 
show up..

not the case anymore. since we select from the view now, the "select *"  in the 
view is expanded AT SAVE TIME, so * will not contain the columns that you just 
added. 

to fix, you will need to redefine the view from the original src and save.
