Art directors: here are some photo ideas for the haunted story. James and I went to Norman Hall and shot images of places in the building that are significant to his story. These are just a few examples of photos. I have a lot more. Trying to go for interesting angles since it's just inanimate objects we're shooting. Thinking that it would be neat on the web version of the story if the appropriate photo appeared when James mentions that location or object in his story. For example, when he talks about the water fountain, that image would appear. What do ya'll think? Let me know if we need to take this in a different direction or if we need different photos. We've also talked about shooting more at Norman at dusk to get that eerie lighting.
P.S. Photos above are raw images. Not edited yet.
I like the different angles. We discussed in class taking photos during the dusk hours to give it that "creepy" feeling. Running these pictures in black + white would also work.
@bakrmuhammad What do you think?
these are good! Can you put them in a dropbox and link it in the issue on art here @emiliechristineshin https://github.com/ufjschool/ob-s14/issues/32
@bakrmuhammad I'm not sure how to put them in a dropbox. I apologize. If you show me on Tuesday I can do that from now on. I feel like for some reason because my mac is an older version I couldn't do the whole dropbox thing, but I might be wrong. I did though load the pics on #32 just like I did on here if that is of any help to you. I can email you the photos for now as well if you want.
Do you already have photos you want to use? Or are you planning to use a video? Art and creative directors need to see an initial concept of your raw material so they can start design work.
