replace: if strcmp(author,'martin-neira')==1 if strcmp(author,'helm')==1 with: switch (author) case 'martin-neira' case 'helm'

quartic_root.m doesn't seem to be used -- should be deleted!

correct the manuscript to explain Martin-Neira's root selection involves t0 instead of Fermat's principle.

You're right. Function quartic_root.m seems to be unused.

Only quartic_param.m is in use.
