I know this is strange question but I'm dealing w/ implementing some passive tracers in UFS. While interpolated output is nice to use for intepretation, only the native fields should be somewhat "perfect" relative to mass conservation questions. It would be nice to know if anything strange is happening w/ my tracer initialization. Interpolated fields at 0 hrs are pretty close to init conds but not exact. A restart file written at 0 hrs would allow me to verify that init conds are being input accurately. Is this possible? I often just see the ability to write restarts every 6 or 12 hrs, w/ an additional option to write at end of run.
