Current Behavior:
The current implementation of the selection tool allows users to drag from any point on the selected object, whether it be a corner or a side. Once a point is dragged, only that point moves, with all other points remaining stationary.
Desired Behavior:
The enhancement proposal focuses on making the tool's behavior more intuitive and flexible:
Only corners should initially be fixed in place.
Points located on the sides of the rectangle should be able to move in conjunction with the corners, assuming their positions haven't been manually adjusted.
If a user adjusts the position of a point on a side, this action should create a new corner. Additionally, new draggable points should appear in the middle of the newly formed sides, allowing for more precise adjustments.
This proposed change aims to improve the tool's usability and efficiency, offering users more control over the selection shape with an intuitive interface.
