ORCID assigned to wrong person #1086

Bug description

ORCID assigned to wrong person. Can we move it, or should that person try to connect once again?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the front-office and download http://biblio.ugent.be/orcid/person.csv
  2. See person https://telefoonboek.prd.rad.ugent.be/nl/people/802002307424 has the ORCID https://orcid.org/0009-0008-7064-5599
  3. This ORCID belongs to https://telefoonboek.prd.rad.ugent.be/nl/people/801000581956

@nics I see that the command ldap_sync searches for older records with the same ugent_id, and then copies attributes like orcid_id from that old record to the new record. But what if those ugent identifiers are reused? I happen to recall that that may happen..

We will ask the person connected wrongly to the ORCID to remove the connection, and to ask the right person to reconnect. The one that is mistakenly connected is an ATP member, so perhaps this was a mistake from an administrative viewpoint. We can still investigate the problem you mentioned @nicolasfranck later.
