Bug

Titles get capped on import

Context

Import with WoS file: https://www.webofscience.com/wos/woscc/full-record/WOS:000332386100024

Title in WoS txt file:

See import: Image

See full title on copernicus: https://acp.copernicus.org/articles/14/2155/2014/

@mietcls I can't seem to reproduce this.

I do notice that the title wraps when the browser window is resized. I suppose you tried importing this when you had two windows side-by side? (the created metadata seems to be positioned very close to the article type). the wrapping of the title happens correctly on Firefox... but how does it look on Safari?

@netsensei Ha, I found out why – it is not importing it via DOI, but importing via WoS.

When I download the record via here https://www.webofscience.com/wos/woscc/full-record/WOS:000332386100024

I can see that in the txt file the title is on multiple lines. This causes the field to break I think.

Tested with multiple types of downloads, it all behaves the same.

So, this works when you pick the option "RIS (other reference software)" from the WoS "export" dropdown, but not when you choose "Plain text file".

Import via BIBtex fails with this error:

could not import publications {"errors": "unexpected @ sign at 60:22", "batch": "", "user": "<UUID>"}

But that's a different issue.

I'll check which ones we need researchers to use

In this tip https://researchtips.ugent.be/en/tips/00001745/ full record is recommended, but I don't know if RIS is an option too.
