Please provide a setting to set the default download folder (directory) #15

The Settings does not have a provision to change the default destination folder, where all subsequent downloads will be placed.

I Googled for a solution, and some people suggest that we can change the folder for a new download.

But IMHO that's not a logical thing to do: That setting is meant for a particular download only. So no one will realize that the default folder setting is hidden there!

It is not reasonable to expect a user to start a download just to set a default folder.

Desired: Please provide a separate setting for the default download folder path.

You can already do this. If you right click "All Category" on the left and click "properties", then select the pane called "default for new download 1" you can select the default folder (and also amount of connections etc.). Obviously, you can make more categories and each category can have a default download location.
