Delete Documentation #2

Open uggi121 opened 4 years ago

The user guide specifies no way for a user to revert on their decision to delete an item.

Once a "delete" command is initiated, the only way to not do it is to enter a valid command. There is no mention of this in any of the documents.

Team's Response

Our team feels the output provided to the user is self-explanatory. As stated in the output message, if the user needs to "Please use delete 6 again to confirm your deletion..", it seems quite intuitive to our team that not using delete 6 (in other words, using any other command), will revert the decision to delete an item. Our team did not feel the need to explicitly state this, and at any rate the severity is certainly not medium as a user that does not want to go through with the deletion will use any command (valid or invalid), except the delete command again and is unlikely to delete a flashcard by mistake. It it already clearly clarified under the important tag that using an invalid command will not reset the checker and that the user ought to be careful.
