Code complete: typing period always accepts selection & inserts period #37

... even in cases where it doesn't make sense.

E.g. on import proposals like "java.util.*;", or methods that require arguments.

Typing period now attempts to filter proposals. If filtering returns no results, period accepts selection, inserts period, and does code completion request. (phy on 2010-08-26)
