If you get e-mailed a file with job numbers that conflict with the job numbers
on your machine, things might not go so well.
We should probably consider the job numbering mechanism. Scan the active-hits
directory for the next job id to give. And when loading a saved file, you'd
need to alter those job numbers as well.
