Carpentry@UiO Merchandise #41

In order to promote Carpentry@UiO better than we do currently, I think we could use our logo and order a bag of stickers and a roll-up poster to be put outside the door of our workshop rooms. This roll-up should contain some basic info, i.e. where to find upcoming courses and how to join the community – information that doesn't quickly get old. I think these promotional materials could be paid for by the library.

What do you think?

I will look into the practicalities of this (budget, etc.) and get back to the community once I know more! Thanks for your replies!

Looks like this got lost along the way. I will make another attempt at a budget and practicalities. Due: post-summer Board meeting 2020

Looks like this has to be postponed further given the challenges around COVID-19. The communication team at UB is focusing on other, more pressing issues. I propose the Board formulates a formal request for a couple of merch-items that should be in place by spring 2021, i.e. roll-up posters, stickers, perhaps t-shirts or buttons.

I will order two Beach Flags with our logo on them. Additionally, we will produce a number of buttons. I will also order stickers with our logo and investigate if we can get a bit of Carpentries merchandise from the global community. If not, I will also order an amount for distribution at on-site workshops.
