• [x] contact-us: Decision: Let's give the second model a try.
  • proposal: adding and removing organizers from the list as needed (if there is a course coming up)
  • alternative: contact-us should reach a smaller group of "moderators", who forward the emails as necessary, e.g., to the instructors as needed. For the time being, there is not so much traffic on the at list, so the moderator-model could work.
• [x] carpadmin list: Is only used for admin .behind the scenes things. Who should be on it? Only a few people who feel that this is there responsibility.

  • Yes, if possible, but requirement: Addresses posted on old websites, etc. should not become invalid. forwarding the old addresses to the new address

I cannot access the Data Sources Configuration where the automatic import from the organizers mailinglist is set up. Have contacted postmaster at USIT on 2020-05-12.

contact-us Issue with the automatic subscription is solved; subscription is now manual. This list will be an opt-in list with status checks every half year. Will update info about mailing lists in relevant documents in organizational.

It's done now! all lists have been moved to @carpentry.uio.no

I have gone through the repos organisational, governance, and the website and changed mailing list names to the new domain name. Some I have merged myself, some other documents require someone else than me to merge the pull-requests (see pull-requests, feel free to merge after reviewing).
