PROCESS is a systems code at UKAEA that calculates in a self-consistent manner the parameters of a fusion power plant with a specified performance, ensuring that its operating limits are not violated, and with the option to optimise to a given function of these parameters.
It should be very usefull to add a python tool to get a visualization of the TF coil desigh looking like :
For SC coil. With different WP geometries like :
And for resistive magnets like
With probably some turn geometry details like :
for resitive magents and
For SC magnets
The whole idea is to have a good communication tool with magent designer and BP, but also to avoid accepting blindly some mad desigh from the PROCESS optimizer.
This may some magnet designer to make output in free cad too.
