BETA testing of OpenSubtitles #20

Use this issue for reporting back on the beta test

Hi I've installed your plugin and tested with couple of movies in my library (language Polish) ALL is working OK. Before the plugin installation - movies with subtitles not correctly displayed After the plugin activation (and force refreshed) the same movies with subtitles correctly displaying national characters

And this was with subtitles downloaded from the OpenSubtitles agent?

Correct I have created small library without local subtitle files I have scanned it without your plugin and tested - result - subtitles without local polish characters then I activated your plugin and forced refresh and BINGO - all subtitles displayed correctly Thanks again

Thanks a lot for confirming this....

Strangely enough...this was a huge demand from users of SRT2UTF8, but you are the only one responding....

Huge Kudo to you for that...

Within the next couple of days, I might ask you to redownload, and retest, but this time on TV-Shows....

Hi, I have installed the plugin. Subtitles are expected to have the correct Hungarian characters. I created a movie section with a couple of movies in it, but without external subtitles. Ran a forced refresh first with "support OpenSubtitles" off, and although the subtitles got downloaded from OpenSubtitles, they were not displaying correctly. Than I switched on "support for OpenSubtitles", ran a forced update and the subtitles were displaying fine. Thanks Tommy! :) Balazs

Please redownload and install the tommy-work branch (Simply follow the instructions from last time, and override the already installed version)

Then check with TV-Shows, and please report back both good and bad here

Huge kudo to both of you for testing this....And sorry am2amk, but since I confirmed it as working, and egribali did as well, I decided to release it to the public ;-)
