steam new cdn? #6

we use this nginx setup https://github.com/bntjah/lancache

they say that they are having issues with steam

We added some new Steam hostnames last night, I'm not aware of any other issues. If you have details of any new hostnames we should add, let us know and we'll add them.

for my testing setup I have not added the new host names. do you know when steam tries to pull from the new hosts?

I think the Steam client downloads a list of content servers. If you check logs/content_log.txt in your Steam directory, it will tell you the hostname of the content server its connecting to.

still testing on my setup, it sounds like it might be nginx still trying to verify.

This project is just for a list of content servers and other cache servers. If you're having an issue with your cache working, I suggest asking in their project.
